I got this little MP3 player for Christmas back in 2006, and it still works. It's really easy to use and sync with a drag-and-drop format. It's tough little bugger and stood up well to three years of being stashed in the bottom of a purse. The only problems I had with it were (1) the battery life (2) storage (3) and freezing up.
After three years, it now only has about an hour of playing time, two if you're careful. But if you're only planning to have it for about a year or so, it shouldn't be a problem.
One GB isn't a lot of room, and I could never get more than 170 songs on it, but a 2 GB memory chip isn't that expensive and it's really easy to install.
I only had it freeze up on me a couple of times, and all I had to do was remove the battery to get it working again. Just a minor frustration.
Now it should be noted that it can only be charged by hooking it up to a computer, and you cannot delete songs without doing the syncing it. You CAN, however, delete the whole library on the device....
All-in-all, I was very pleased with my purchase and would definitely reccomend this product to anyone.
