These are not great products, but they are well worth the price. The speakers sound shockingly good, and can be powered by an a/c adapter power cord if you have one. The fm transmitter works but it's weak. I have to put it on the dash and push it over as close to the antenna as it will reach. Anything farther than about 2 1/2 feet from the antenna is iffy. DON'T ASSUME YOUR TRANSMITTER IS BROKEN IF YOU DON'T GET A SIGNAL. When I first got my transmitter I didn't think it worked. You can set it to stations 107.1 through 107.9, but that doesn't mean that that is the correct station to set your radio to. Apparently the transmitter is inaccurate. What you do is set the transmitter to a station and start playing your music, then surf the upper range of stations until you find it. If you don't find it you probably have a radio station interfering or are to far from the antenna. So, change the station on the transmitter and surf the upper range stations again (we're talking maybe 106.5 through 107.9), trust me it's there somewhere. But don't assume that since one time the transmitter was set to say 107.1 and you found it on 107.5 on your radio that it will always be that way, it seems to vary. You'll just have to keep surfing those stations.

I ordered this item and within a week the radio transmitter had a short. I contacted the supplier and asked them to replace it for me. They did but they would not pay shipping which was 7 dollars, almost as much as it cost in the first place! I recieved the replacement transmitter and that one broke as well, in less than 2 weeks. It would be ridiculous for me to pay for shipping once again. I am simply going to find a more expensive radio transmitter that will last more than 2 weeks!

Soon after I received this speaker system I took it and my Sansa Clip to the campgrounds where friends were camping and, to a person, we thought it was great. No one could believe the sound from this system, considering the size. I just ordered another one for around the campfire at the cottage. Great price and, so far, great quality. I am not quite sure why this system didn't work for the previous reviewer, but it works great with, not only my Clip, but also my portable CD and Cassette players. Maybe they couldn't find the device connecting wire, which is tucked away neatly when the system is closed. The radio is of little use, however, as the stations are preset.

No idea why this speaker and FM transmitter are advertised as "for" Sansa Clip. The usb port on these items are standard PC size and do not connect to the very small Sansa Clip. Total waste of money.

Little speaker worked better than expected. Cables work fine. Transmitter only has 4 frequencies (106.7, 107.1, 107.5, 107.9) to choose from, all of which are occupied so it doesn't work. Not surprised.
